The Grand Parade
Queens opens. Music, floats, skeletal guards holding back the crowd. The cart is set. Food is on the grill. A crystal-headed census construct floats past every stall with a kobold skull flickering behind its face. And somewhere in the audience, a vendor is selling what he says are candies. They hatch spiders.
