in the game i'm playing hard he's level five monk um i'm i'm not trying to i'm not trying to hide the
fact that i'm short okay i'm not trying to do anything cope cope cope uh yeah that's me you can

host and game master for this evening zone the bear and welcome back to rocket as a bit of a warning for
everyone watching live and wondering on youtube going why is this messed up um iron side was really
really helpful uh iron side was uh very very generous and uh helped send over a brand new pc
my old pc was basically just dying it would randomly shut off and i was scared every single time we would
stream any of these shows that it would just randomly shut off and ruin everything and because these have
to go continuously to make it work so man now the only thing that'll make the show is kind of end if
if the texas infrastructure will just shut off my electricity for no good reason so now it's going to
be texas's fault this time uh but iron side computers thanks so very much for sending over
computer we just want to give them a shout out and stuff uh they've been very very helpful even uh i
think even one of the reps and stuff at 9 p.m helped me out with a little bit of a problem and stuff so
didn't get that with the previous pre-built company i say in disdain who sent me broken hardware i've now
learned to find out and to replace the part with broken shit so thanks iron side for sending me
something that actually works and it is pretty cool so thanks so much so be sure to head over
iron side look up iron side pcs and stuff like that and uh get yourself one today but um but with that
who remembers for a couple of smidgens of hero points who remembers what happened last time
i did it last week um uh salty do you want to do it because you'll get the most hero points out of it
it would but um i'm not doing it you're not doing it you're not doing it it would be hilarious if
cab did it i literally did not watch the last episode i have no idea what went on uh-huh uh-huh okay cool
i was in the middle of moving fine excuse getting a house what a fucking loser oh my god you know
what at this point i might as well just i might as well just stay in the boga ball
uh yeah so i i can do it i i can i can i can i can do the funny talkie yeah what happened last week
but baldrick good beginning there froggy because last time last time since talim the greatest smuggler
that quan shear had ever seen both in life and death had been excommunicated from the realm of the
living um his three companions heart beetle and gray set to take on a job of smuggling in
an individual from the dark and gloomy swamps outside of outset solitude in hopes of getting in
a very important individual to the elmas an individual who had recipes that they wanted the question
for if these recipes were of food or of um other resources was entirely unmentioned entirely
forgotten and um except from the entire situation with it all the three of them set out
from outset and into solitude wandering through the murky swamps um and there in in hiding
was the man himself baldrick uh played by erndil who um who has ventured away from his group to go back
into outset to go back to his house uh where he can you know be the most efficient
i i would i wouldn't say terrorist i would say something like um society toppler
uh more than anything else a tyrant slayer if you will uh and uh there in the swamps um
they manufactured a plan a plan to gather a wagon some horses and just right up to the wall disguised
as members of the tyrant's guild everything went pretty well except for the fact that of course in
true narrative declaration rot goons fashion we can only crit and crit fail and therefore the entire
situation became a crumbling mess uh as uh our beloved hulky crow from rot grind also appeared as one of the
the lead guards there together with an inspector that had arrived um some things started to be
become obvious that the rot goons in the wagon no matter how well they presented their deals were not
actual members of the tyrant's guild and in such fashion baldrick who had been a part of making this
wonderful little plan uh stated the secret word the code word for in case battle should begin which
was popcorn uh he slammed his explosives into some a bunch of people including some skeletal guards
and uh within due time they were all vanquished by the goons uh forging forcing the investigator to
forge some papers for them under threat of their life and not just their life that their entire
existence would be ruined and then they just went back in got the recipes from baldrick
and uh then they went back home and that is about what happened last session
that good enough clap clap clap clap my tail also my my tail got set on fire for no reason i still don't
know how that happened
oh that's what happens when you rolled that one
just don't do that yeah okay this is what happens when you let amateurs smuggle yeah just stop
you this is what happens when amateurs smuggled man that's tough talk for a dead man
a double dead man dead the entire campaign i said double dead i would do it from the grave
but actually recap salty that rewards you two hero points
uh and uh i've i've fixed the bit bars now so chat uh if you now do bits and hashtag stuff
it new computers so try to get everything transferred over right uh it should be working
now and also to to leave so if it looks broken just at me and chat if you don't mind um but with that
it's time to continue
so as you all have been traveling back into the city of outset
oh use this map because this one has everything labeled
that um as you guys continue on to the city of outset making your way over to the ponds pilaster
you all remember the guy that uh that tried to write in code the baldrick uh figured out right
how he threatened his life and everything
seems he wasn't as uh as himself going forward as uh as you guys are kind of walking in you notice a
lot of people are not on the streets as you're walking your way past the squires pilaster back back
home to the ponds pilaster everything seemed just a little bit empty really as you're going through
but um but i'd like to kind of recount for everyone real quick thinking how everyone's been thinking
about the campaign so far pretty much like their journeys as they've been continuing through i'd like
to start with arts art a lot of things have been happening a lot of things have been occurring here
in the city of outset you've been able to get some money you might want to get hand wraps all sorts of
stuff but something's just been eating at you in the back of your mind what what's heart thinking of
at this moment like in in summary uh heart thinking about everything going on right now how's heart
feeling as you're going back to assumingly elms park's goal has been from the start to become famous more
or less um this is the first ever place that he's been that is not his home um and if anything
outside hasn't become a home to him it's a field of opportunity and the individuals that he has met
beetle gray talim the elmas holic all of them are people to him that at first he was like oh yeah
these people will get help me get famous but something human in him is drawing him to a weird
conclusion to him at least it's weird that he maybe doesn't want to be famous maybe he just wants to
be with these guys maybe he's fine with that um and he's having a conflict of interest in himself
there's two parts of him that are pulling in two different way in two different directions
uh one of them uh is that which has been instilled for him through his entire life get famous get big
get worthy enough that your father will like accept you and then the other one is like but do you though
do you need that you have been pretty happy recently everything has been going well why don't you do
that and then he has this conflict in his head so he's he has been very distant when no one has been
talking to him he has been that weird sense of heart always being looking out for everyone talking to
people he's a been a very nice traveling companion but recently he has been very much just looking out
towards a distance even though they're in the city he's just been looking about not that talkative
recently roll me a perception check if you don't mind
you're walking through the city streets you're you're going through some back roads you definitely
are trying to go in through the the main roads and uh with your roll of 24.
okay cool cool beetle you're plapping away you know you're with your group you've just left baldrick
and you're on your way back home what's beetle thinking about maybe or beetle talking to him at
all recounting anything you know feels really really good about it feel feels really really good about
their work uh it was so smart and baldrick with the note i never would have thought to do that or well
maybe i would have but i wasn't really planned for everything to go down south and the way that
baldrick really handled everything well just really really cool and i love that he loved my sandwich
do you think he like you i could hear you couldn't see but he was looking at his lips like when he was
eating it so that tells me that it was pretty good i'm gonna go home and i'm gonna make yeah yeah yeah
i'm gonna make like a bunch of frog sandwiches you guys want some frog sandwiches really and beetles is
like yammering about how great it went how cool baldrick is how cool he feels and how cool everybody
else here is and how he can't wait to get back to the elbows which he uh endearingly maybe mistakenly
refers to as home uh he's like yeah when we get back there it's on it's frog sandwich time and he
is creating his neck looking left looking right uh looking at gray looking at heart not fully paying
attention to anything else in this moment because he just feels like job well done time to celebrate
with some frog sandwiches don't say remember the frogs are people stop of course i remember
okay okay roll me a perception check beetle absolutely
oh uh one second i have to reset my web browser it's not opening the menu you can do it i can believe
that would be a total of 25. okay okay cool cool gray in summary how's uh how's gray feeling or is
gray talking to the group at all as you're walking home or anything else gray is uh gray's kind of just
like listening to beetle yammer on as as he does uh she usually doesn't she normally doesn't talk very
much uh to begin with it has kept her alive for a very long time to not talk um but uh while while
she's she's listening to beetle she's like nodding her head like mm-hmm that's nice sweetie mm-hmm uh and
she's also she's kind of keeping an eye out because they are currently they're still they're still kind
of like you know being talked about like they had someone come after them not too long ago and uh you
know they just helped out a notorious uh terrorist so that's probably not even uh helping anything
so she's uh she's keeping her her eyes open well you know listening to beetle and with that roll
me a perception check if you don't mind oh boy i'm rolling a perception we've done pretty good with
look at those numbers that is a total of 18. okay oh our perception checks are hot as
fuck let's not say that

it is very dry for you
it is very dry for you as you were standing basically in a in the desert
but before you you see you notice that there's a campsite behind you and in front of you are a bunch
of warriors coming on their way
do i recognize the uh what the warriors are wearing do they look
roll me society check
oh man society
i mean and thanks on splash for these images by the way a lot of photoshopping last night
so i'm gonna roll that and i rolled a seven plus eleven for a total of eighteen
well that you would recognize them normally a you you you remember yourself on a desert caravan
a lot of spices a lot of goods coming in on your way as you look down you find yourself whole
you're not a ghost you're back in quan cheer throughout the desert plains and you see
a group of individuals coming up to you as if they came off to the side of the rock face that's
over to the side of you as you're continuing with the desert they they're getting closer but you recognize
them as raiders bandits people who would attack these things and you and you remember that they would
come in and just talk cordially as if as if you're going to be paying a toll and of course
whether you pay it or not you're very confident that the rest of them hiding in the rocks and
the cliff faces will come down to you what would to lean do what would to lean do to protect his
caravan what would you do to protect his good his investments or whatever else he chooses to protect
in that case uh lean would more than likely um if he's standing out of the desert he's probably on watch
um which means that there is also somebody watching him there's somebody at the camp and they're spinning around
and so what he would essentially do is he would take his shield that he keeps strapped to his arm and
since he's standing there he would tilt it in a way so it flashes the light back at the camp um to let
those uh those there know that someone is uh someone is approaching and uh he would do it three times to
indicate that it is somebody who is hostile um or possibly hostile uh more than likely raiders um
but since they do tend to come in and talk cordially um he will try to you know uh bind them in make
them feel at ease make them feel like they're going to uh get their way so the caravan can either you
know assemble all the guards or you know get ready to run as you do so as you flash the light you begin
to see kind of everything fade everything fades back for you talim where you're in this world of just
sparkling visual splendor but everything goes back dark for you it all goes back to the rest of them
beetle like beetle uh beetle gray in heart you see flashing lights somewhere flashing lights and
flashing lights just kind of drawing your attention over to the side and you see in waiting an ambush for
you tyrants guild members
as you were going throughout the back streets and so thank goodness that something caught your eye
and you all see laying in wait multiple tyrants guild members and you're in the thick of it
grail just kind of like hold her hand out a little bit in front of beetle just kind of like slow
him down a little bit yeah beetle stops talking uh notices what's going on sees the lights and then
sees the tyrants guild and he sucks in a sharp breath and grabs heart by the fluff on his uh his little
ankle guards and he kind of like shimmies backwards boot scoots over to the wall of a building to try and
get them all in the shadows and he crouches down low which is super redundant
and become bold
would we be able to see any possible way around the situation like around these these tyrants guild members
uh well with your perception check that you did before
um you've because of someone who helped you basically are looking around that you now have
the ability to try to get headway they got you surrounded because you basically walked in
peering to the middle but they haven't pounced yet but even you i can kind of see one of them just like
trying to very silently get his weapon out and ready another one seems to just kind of like getting
into position to like dash out and try to like like either grab one of you or to try to capture you with
a net uh another one's got like a crossbow kind of aimed on top of a rooftop it's a good chunk of
them um but because of that warning you were able to assess that like we're in it and you know and
there are options you can take that you feel and if you want to suggest something to me
you know see something you can do to get a leg up possibly in this situation
hmm can we scale onto the buildings somehow
beetle would realize they're in the alleyways a couple on top of the roofs
all well around but uh for you hart what's up is there a door or a window nearby oh
you're like an alleyway area but yeah there's there's several doors leading into places so whether
they're unlocked and accessible it's going to be going to be random chance for for you but
no no they're gonna be unlocked don't worry about it they're going to be soon yes uh but uh is there
because being on the roofs that's understandable um if anything cooking is hart's big deal
uh hart's second deal is knowing about his homeland and everything that it you know that the people that
taught him about stuff and the third thing that might be heart's actual excellence is his innate
understanding of tactical fighting even though he's not educated or anything he just knows how people
work in a in a fight and um heart looks up and if if he sees a single one of them on the roofs and if
he sees them in the distance then he might understand that okay we might be surrounded they might be
like behind us at this point as well um and taking a note from how gray typically does things where they
stay in the distance and move around corners and whatever he wants to open a door
okay well you know a window that is nearby uh well while heart is looking at doors gray is looking
at the ground seeing if there's any sewer uh sewer holes yeah just somewhere to go what's beetle doing
oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap they've noticed us oh crap they're readying things oh crap guys uh guys
is it safe to go back to the elbows not this way rick we shouldn't lead this back there to them
why are they after us anyway we never did anything wrong
gray just like plaps her hand on beetle's head just just just
that's correct beetle we didn't do anything wrong but the wrong but the law people they employ laws and
do you know what the law people tend to do they tend to make you do wrong things according to the
law he looks at beetle like and that's bad where are we gonna go what are we gonna do what are we
gonna do down or through down or through all right beetle's going to start trying to help
gray and heart find a way out now that he's on the same page roll me a perception check beetle
yeah it's hard it's uh also looking around
that's a total of a 25. with that roll you notice that there are like you know how bottom doors are
really big doors kind of all that stuff or warehouse doors you notice one you notice one that's slightly
opened something that you think you can slip into
beetle will point it out and be like over there hopefully they're not looking at us from in there
but even then the cover from being inside the building it might be worth taking the chance
it's a large house there might be a a sewer grate in there
yeah can you squeeze through i'd be able to just open the door and uh beetle will scurry over and
try to open the door if something is jammed or for some reason you see that is a you see that's a
little bit open or so and you're able to start squeezing through but as you guys start the motion
there you hear you hear from the side of it goes like get them go and then everything begins
everything begins you see the tyrant skill rush out everywhere seeing that their opportunity is
slipping away from them and they start chasing you
hit let me see if i can get something a little appropriate for this this is an entire time i was
looking around like okay what kind of
rattle them boys
and so with that shakes great viciously okay so with that you all are running as
you basically try to like burst in through the warehouse and stuff uh you notice it is
practically empty but the other side of the door is open for you we're now on a chase scene oh
fuck oh i'm chasing and what i'm going to do to make things a little bit easy for everyone i'm
going to reload it and hopefully everything works
you're now in a chase scene a bunch of tyrant skilled members are behind of you like too many
probably for you to take on for yourself as you guys are pretty much rushing i'm now going to go to
kind of each of you really i'm going to go to each of you and basically ask you several questions
uh yeah but first we're gonna go to talim oh hey that's me talim yes you remember the bandits from
before right remember the bandits who you talked to it did not go well
it did not go well either by you or some intervention of someone in your camp
it might have not gone well you know in terms of in terms of your mindset or so but they seem
cordial enough they took any bribes any tolls that they wanted but they have come crashing down the
hills of the desert for you you you are currently seeing a horde of them come through like rushing to
and fro on cut on on permits kablix kablix steve which pretty much think of like a horse dog kind
of hybrid type creature with clawed hands and stuff just rushing back and forth and you are in the thick
of it they're like you're in the thick of it but before the wave gets in before the wave gets in you've
noticed that there are obstacles around them like kind of pillars of stone and things like that around
obstacles to put in their way what does talim do what does it seem to do to buy the camp time
so um while uh they are charging in or you know they're either you know i'm assuming some of them
are like right there at the moment um more than likely what talim would do um is he would actually
take his ass coil and like if you you know have like some stone obelisks or something like that uh
around right there would actually try to uh fling the ass coil out wrap around a stone and uh pull it down
on anyone who's you know either in front of him or uh you know like uh next to him to basically like
interpose that you know give it something to uh yeah to block away or fall on someone
roll me a roll me a melee attack just generally rolling
either that or that or i'll make uh here let's let's change the property they make it easier on us
uh roll me an arcane check okay i have to find that oh there it is uh okay okay there we go so i roll
with a plus eleven uh with a nine for a total of twenty
for you for you the vision passes again and you fade back in the darkness
now for everybody else hart you're rushing yeah you're rushing you're rushing pretty much down this
uh past of the warehouse out into an alleyway and you see tyrants guilt are just moving in on you
in front of you you see a crane carrying a crate and several workers around they're just trying to
take care of stuff and it kind of bends over to the left that you notice what do you do
uh hart knows that if he just wanted to he could outrun any tyrants member tyrants guild member he can
run as fast as a horse uh but he knows that the rest of his kin cannot uh and therefore he will never
leave them hart will start to look at his two his two allies and he will do the one thing that hard
can do in this situation uh more than anything else he will run first just in case anyone wants to
hit his allies hit his friends or down him or whatever he can take the first hit
as long as they keep running they can probably outrun the rest that is behind them
um so the first thing that he will do is uh run down the alleyway and quickly see if there's
anything else around there but he will run over to the crane firsthand okay the crane is that way
upward and upward is away from these guys okay so basically
you're just you're just hauling butt for this one gray
is there anything special you were doing or are you also running uh she is running while looking up
and around to see if there's anything she can like possibly pull down or shoot down to like try and
obstruct the the way behind them is it roll me a perception check
oh no where did it go there it is
rolling rolling rolling that's a total of 11.
it is enough it is enough to notice that the crane with the crate would be something interesting if
it did fail but fall behind you guys the end of the way and in fact you kind of see another mirror
like glint kind of near it gray will shout out to uh to heart hey crane and she points behind them
towards the the uh the tyrants guild members make it make it fall make it fall it gives her a thumbs up
okay beetle uh uh so beetle has his little tiny stubby legs so the very first and foremost thing that
he's gonna do is when a heart starts to take off and then gray he like puts in one final push with his
little slappers and he grabs on to i suppose gray because gray is the closest and starts climbing up
and uh is he like stuck to her tail yeah just grabs under her tail like climbs up it's like somebody
being dragged from a cart uh once he can finally get up on on either her hunch or her shoulder uh he
tries to stabilize himself and get out his crossbow you're like trying to suppress the tyrants guild people
make it harder for him to follow yes so he's going to try and throw some shots at them fire some shots
at them from uh up on on gray okay he's a sniper tower go ahead go ahead you don't have to targeting
the turn skilled member tokens here but go ahead and just do me a normal crossbow attack let's see
what the role is yeah yeah sure hold on gotta switch from oh my gosh i'm so sorry let me refresh the browser
again yeah just make sure hardware acceleration's on if you're having trouble ah okay then if you
turned it off to i don't know share a company's bad decisions of their streaming service you know
that might uh you know yeah i well i'm also i'm popping out the character window so i can have
it on another browser and i don't know if that has anything to do with it sometimes it breaks a
little bit so if you always have trouble rolling something just pop it back in there we go now it's
letting me change to two-handed okay so he's got his crossbow two hands i'm gonna take a
take a shot take a little rolly roll that's a net 20. nice in fact you'll see basically one of them
like go right through the mask of one of the tyrants guild members through his eye bam you kill one as it
goes by like they got you and they're chasing you down this alleyway with more firmer you made them
go faster but you've definitely made some of them go that dragon's got aim
who gave that dog a gun oh my god perfect awesome they only move up so much thanks to everyone's
efforts and everyone kind of legging it getting ready for things now we're gonna go to the next
phase uh for the next section next section of the uh chase thing you all have seen the crane uh gray
you've definitely uh have pointed it out to the rest of the group you're now need to turn over the bend
i want to start with i want to basically like like start with one switch it over start with one switch
it over uh beetle you have you have shot now you notice they're they're getting up a little bit but
not as much as possible thanks to your efforts um you notice that there's a crane up top with uh
suspended in a suspended by rope with the crane for the crate um you see it dangling there you do
also notice the glint and so as you're about to round about the corner you can either try to do
something with that or maybe look around your environment maybe think there might be something
else that should help slow these people down or to help you go a little bit faster what would you like
to do oh once we pass under that box uh beetle's gonna stick out his tongue lick one eye and then
he's gonna take a shot at the rope awesome go ahead and roll me a crossbow attack for me
that's a five on the die that's a total of 17 but a five on the die yeah would you like to keep that
i'm gonna hero point it okay okay lunch roll it again
it's a natural one how did this happen you know i i had a feeling that the moment's always like are you
okay with that i was just like am i am i upset some people in chat but let me let me do something
here let me do something here oh my god as you aim in and you know that like something jostled you
or so re-roll re-roll the one really re-roll the one i did get a nat 20 before you feel you feel
something helped you oh that's a 20 that's the best it's a total of 20 it's an eight on the die yeah
you shoot the cross you shoot the you shoot the rope on top it is not enough to take it down completely
but with the help of something i feel a spectral force adjust my aim
to lean as to lean as flashback it's going to come back to you you recognize you basically see
a small boy with a crossbow just just kind of shaking and trying to like aim at one of the riders
what do you do uh
uh as uh he's trying to like aim at one of the riders um and to lean is basically you know people
are they're running past packing things up um you know to lean's got a shield in one hand he's got a
sword in the other um and he's ready for them to be upon them but as he sees a small boy shake like he
will crouch down and he'll uh set the shield in uh in front of the boy and so he can rest the crossbow on
it he's just like breathe breathe and squeeze
and uh the boy fires and hits his mark you see one the riders fall off from his mount
and crash down into the desert sands and it was just like like sand dissipating from your vision
whoosh back the darkness and of course beetle fires whoosh and thanks to some help hits the rope
after that he uh he snaps the boy in the back he's like now to the wagon
and so next up great you notice that the rope's kind of dangling in you know by its way it should
fall behind you guys as you guys continue on um but it might but as it as you suspect that you're
not 100 confident on it make me an athletic check to run faster or acrobatics to potentially dodge it
uh we're gonna roll for athletics all right let's see it she's good uh five her total is 16. happy with that
the last time this happened we got a one
what are the odds of us getting a one again we just rolled
why do you say these things we just rolled away okay i'm dead
i'm going to use my hero point let's go
that is a total of 15. it's worse it's okay i'd like to formally apologize for encouraging this
behavior that's okay i'm gonna keep it either way i can't really re-roll re-roll
it is she's gonna she's gonna use her best uh she is old reminder she's an old old woman she is
past the expiration date for the average knoll she's so so with that heart same options for you um
uh but uh but heart same thing for you um you can either run faster uh basically with an athletic

maybe have gone through it something in the wind might have diverted the shot on the way
but and you just hear like beer as it hits a cobblestone and the bullet ricochets through
you're being hunted not just by the tyrants guild but by something else
group goons if i dare say you are continuing down the alleyway you are running you have delayed the
tyrants guild going forward but something arrives in your path something no most heinous something
most terrible as you are in a chase scene two people carrying a glass pane appeared before you
i'm taking a walk
two citizens about two citizens of outset you know maybe wanting to install a window at some point
you know maybe bringing it in for old grandma's you know window so she can see all the cute
people going around the street so she can people watch you don't know what the class is for
but it's now in front of you two of our carrying this large pane of glass and you somehow have to
get past them
hearts you are rushing you are running you are big you are proud but the glass
the inconvenience of this glass is too is too scary to smash you would ruin someone's birthday
or an event or something for some reason it's someone's order what do you do how do you get
how would you like to get past this pin of glass or you can athletics check to jump over or crash through
it or acrobatics to kind of dodge through it or or let's see uh what's a fun little thing we can kind
of do or you can do intimidation if you like to scare them out of your way to make them stop so
it's easier for you to get around or any other type of thing you would like to try what would you like
to do uh yeah just pick up one person on one side and gray pick up the other person they just set them
aside and then we keep running like a little pause and put them down and then keep running
i uh uh props to you soren uh for for the incredible whiplash between you are being hunted and then
two guys who are like glass pane walking across the street
we can prank someone clip that please we're already wanted for so much we can't add property damage to the list
uh soren uh as heart is so big and it's just a wracking body of arms smoke and teeth uh he wants
to bellow out uh a terrifying scream since uh i have the intimidating glare feet i don't need to share
a language with someone that i am intimidating uh so he's just running down the street as this mass of arms
and teeth and screams um so i want to i want to do that thing that you mentioned i want to intimidate
them to get out of the way okay before or as you do that it's okay yeah uh as you do that um
let's see no it's okay i should have spoken a lot sooner for this one as you roll your intimidation
and begin to yell what do you yell at them as you're charging through due to the intimidating
glare one he's just screaming an inhuman bellow from something that shouldn't exist it's like
a dark souls boss roar cleric beast fight begins now yeah cleric beast so with that you're going to
like just give it a little more something i don't know what the fuck you do yeah yeah yeah my score
didn't like that mike so basically as as you do that they freeze a little bit and you're able to
whoosh get past them and you are now on the other side good job mark that for my peak yes
baleem you're alone in the desert you're alone in the desert you appear carry a pane of glass
in fact what you see before you though is sort of a prism something that is perfect something that is
stuck in the sand on your travels you are covered in blood you're covered in blood your supplies are
running low your foot trails last all throughout the desert itself would you come upon a mirror a
prism something like a pain a pain of something that is perfect sticking out of the desert itself
and as you look into it as you look into it you see just
this you see people rushing towards it it's very fuzzy it's humanoid features just like rushing
like rushing at this thing one of them like ghostly figure like off to the side of it
you feel you feel that you can commune with this in some way you feel that you can interact or
somehow reach out not fully but something compels you something like something uh
uh indicates to you that you can do something or you can simply move on continue on with your
journey thinking you're hallucinating if you wish to go that route what does talim do what would
you like to do um you know if talim is you know wounded he's covered in blood you know supplies are
running low you know when he's lived in the desert all his life um it's probably it's not the first time
that's weird shit out there you know yeah it's not the first time that he's
one of this kind of situation he's very familiar with miranges and he's also familiar with how uh
oftentimes you know the mind when it's tired when you're dehydrated can play tricks on you
and that if you stop moving you can oftentimes be dead so even though he seems like this this weird
weird strange artifact in front of him um if it had been another scenario he may have like you know
like maybe i could you know sell this with some money or go sell this for some money or something
but he knows that he has to uh he has to keep moving uh to to stop now is basically to just give up
because he has no idea if this is going to entrance him or anything so kind of like you know like yeah
like shift in his armor um and keep his shield over his head to maybe keep the sun off of him a little
bit and he'll keep uh he'll keep moving on okay you continue to move on and we cut back the chase
gray see this pane of glass before you the unstoppable obstacle what do you do
same options kind of his heart either of athletics to jump over crash through it acrobats are kind of
like whoosh whoosh kind of jump around the way or maybe something inventive you would like to try
like uh anything else with your skills like to show me uh gray is gonna take a page out of beetle's book
and grab onto heart as he's going around it yeah she's going she's going to grab onto him while
also uh hey where did that arrow come from she's basically looking around for that because that's
a problem oh yeah it was a bullet he straight up got shot at by a bullet it was a bullet bullet yeah it
was a bullet so i would like to do that roll me an athletics check i love that we're rolling rolling
oh you saw that 20 right that was a total of 19. unfortunately it's not enough can i give a hero
point no it's not enough and so with that you make it you make it you try to grab on but it's just harsh
it's a bit too quick you know and the heart's going slips out of your claws and uh you do make
it a little bit away you're able to get tugged over but um you don't get past the obstacle this time yes
beetle you're technically on gray which which i'm allowing for it but time skill people are coming
up fast they're getting past the obstacle they're about to they seem to be soon to be upon you if
you don't help out here and the glass pane of impenetrableness is in front of you what do you do
portmite portmite slide uh beetle is holding on to gray for dear life and he screams when
gray tries to jump over with heart and get the looks onto the glass and the beetle's just gonna turn
around and shoot the glass okay go ahead and roll me attack we're just ruining this poor
these guys are like we're just trying to do our jobs yeah oh no that's a total of 16.
it's okay glass has a weak ac oh thank god i hate you so much you're like it's impenetrable
glasses i'm like there's something really scary about this you crash through and it shatters all
onto the ground and you uh and you're able to help progress through and gray you're lagging behind a
little bit but you are progressing through and of course okay she's old members are still on
your heels i would put a shit ton more tokens emphasize how many are coming after you but
i don't want to lag the game it's okay we're role players we're imagining we're using our yeah
imagination we're hallucinating right now this is where the this is where the podcast people have
an opportunity to imagine how many imagine a lot behind them you're now escaping you're now still
escaping through you see traffic a bunch of carts trade like a bunch of carts and of course trade
things all around traffic going to and fro oh my god are you kidding me traffic going to and fro and
you know to kind of get through them to gain enough speed or so you have to deal with traffic
you see your only avenue of safety is hooking over to the right but of course as as you're coming up
to lean yes we go back to you me little me your travels have been long to lean but you you are an
experienced veteran of the desert you've probably have done this a number of times through failed
trade caravans as you're coming you find a stray horse you find a stray horse that seems not
something you would be familiar with from the battle of before but something that seems to have just
lost its way roll me a nature check if you wish to calm it down and either ride it or so or will
you simply ignore it thinking it's another aberration what would talim like to do um you
sometimes the sands provide and while talim isn't uh he isn't skilled with nature this is an opportunity
where you know if he can get a mount you know even if he uh even if only he makes it um and like the
the horse doesn't then uh he still makes it so i'll go ahead and roll that raw nature check
i got no bonuses to it and it's a flat tin it's not quite enough to to ride the horse but you're
at least able to lead it you're able to take its lead and it'll definitely not let you on its back
but you're able to kind of let it lead you it kind of tugs on you or so and uh you find yourself
approaching a camp and you see a woman there looking around frantically just trying to look
over the horizon and she sees you with the horse she waves you down and either this person would
be important to you in talim's life that's up for you to decide but she welcomes you into the camp
a new caravan something else you can protect or just another step in your life something as an
avenue to get back to civilization get back to what you would call home
regardless of your interactions with this individual either just passing and just a minor
memory or something major it ends the vision fades and we go back to the group
heart yeah it's frogging time bunch of a bunch of carts and stuff in front of you you notice that
going straight across is not much of an option or taking over to the left is going against traffic
too much you feel that you wouldn't be able to make much ground to get caught that way you feel
most of the flow of traffic is going over to the right here um obviously to navigate through this stuff
or even go past all the uh stalls and everything navigating that and i didn't put a bunch of tokens
on here but imagine it's crowded a bunch of people are here you know yeah this is a bizarre kind of
market it's market day yeah so how would you like to approach this we like to athletic checks to try
to like rush through it all trying to keep pace with the horses and stuff and try to go into the flow
of traffic or your acrobatics to try and dodge all the all the people the traffic and everything
going through would you like to do a nature check to try and you know be friendly with the horse
to try to divert them from your path going forward maybe another intimidation check what would hart
like to do soren last time it didn't work out that great well so you know different i understand
your skills may not be but i do different no no no dc results so it's not that art doesn't have good
good like interactions with a bunch of people uh when he needs to race down a lane
um if it was up to him he would just rush through it all trample anything in his way but um at this
point he sees an opportunity a tactical opportunity this is a sea of movement if he can pass through this
then the tyrant's guild members might also pass through it if he makes it so that it keeps on moving
this river of meat then he can then he they probably can't move through it so what the heart wants to
do is that he wants to move up towards its limit and then he wants to ready himself to throw his two
allies over it so you are not carrying great well for that that'll be a very hard athletics check
yeah to talk to a system and a thing so yeah it's are you guys in on it i will allow that if you roll a
natural 20. you're asking a lot on that one you're asking a ton on that one so can i can i can i spend
hero points to do it you can re-roll that's fine okay
that's asking a lot oh yeah it is asking is asking to break the encounter so yeah yeah exactly
and to be realistic and all that other stuff yeah yeah in that case in that case uh perhaps
a little bit better of a choice uh is that heart wants to move up to this corner
and with how big he is he wants to jump over it so he wants to use the corner of this building
as a um the corner of a wrestling ring and just try to leap as far as he can
and i do have improved leaping distance or and see it works uh should i roll anything are you trying
to jump across because you know a cross is not a pathway forward ah through that yeah i remember
telling you you can't going across is kind of filled up with people way too much stuff to get past all
right uh then we just continue with the same thing as usual scream scream as he rushes down
just imagining everyone in this marketplace doing their thing there's just a screaming mass of arms
just oh yeah just running down the the lane yeah yeah no thanks uh intimidation check i guess
yeah let's see it yeah i rolled an eight for a total of 16. i wish to use my hero point to re-roll that
all right let's see it i rolled an eight for a total of 16. holy shit exactly the same oh my god
it's insane you try your best to intimidate you know the horses the people and everything get out
of your way but you feel to be stuck in the traffic or so you're not making as much progress as you
were like but you are making progress uh not as far as you would like but you are you are slowly but
surely getting through there gray you see heart kind of barreling in what would you like to do
uh gray's gonna try it well first she's trying to catch up because she fell a little behind
uh and then when she gets up to the horses she's going to try and uh climb over them because at
this rate it is probably faster to try and climb over them than to go around them because uh stuff's
moving she's just like climbing and clamoring over people riding their horses
i'm very amused by this imagery
let's see go ahead and make a roll for me uh athletics it's gonna be one more time sorry my
brain died uh she's she's basically like running and like climbing over everything as she yeah i was
sitting here i was like i forgot a detail is it accurate bags you're trying to do or are they okay
that's a 19 for a total of 30. you make it just fine in fact you make so much progress that you quick
succeed
and you're able to pass by heart making it through further down the lane of traffic beetle
trance guild's right right behind you i understand that you're like kind of riding on gray but i
like yeah he could have fallen off yeah like with the the glass everything and uh because he does
fall off something very strange happens you know when your adrenaline picks in when you're genuinely
scared of something and you can take off like like really fucking running and you kind of surprise
yourself that sort of vibe happens uh to beetle except he doesn't just surprise himself because
he's running very fast but he surprises himself because he feels his back crack and the back of his
shirt tugs out and tears and little tiny draconic wings are suddenly pushing him forwards as
he takes a long jump uh and i would like to try and jump 10 feet ahead of the tyrant's guild
oh is that the new feet that you got that's my feet i've got winglets
i've got little level five winglets i've been waiting for a moment like this to pop him out
he flies now he flies now absolutely winglet he said he just again okay so it's an athletics yeah just
go and roll me athletics
chant it's just a mass of red bull jokes all right that's 11 on the diet but a total of 17.
okay okay you're able to kind of make it through you get over to where heart is or so and both of
you as you guys are kind of together kind of in the middle of traffic like huh huh huh you both kind
of see something you as you're kind of in the middle of traffic or something you see one person just
trying to um it's like you you see a man kind of dealing with his horse or so and the horse is being
very kind of uncooperative but the man kind of leads the horse through kind of like traffic or so
kind of inconvenient a bit dangerous but something just kind of pushes the traffic along a little bit
something just kind of like makes way for all of you to get by and even with some of your failures
you notice something someone of in very nice clothing from a glance you see someone that you've met
before someone familiar but on another bit of a blink it seems like just a normal outset citizen
just normal rags and stuff wearing leading the horse along but it gives you both ample opportunity
to catch up with gray
because the tyrant skilled members are fast on heroes unfortunately some of the time
and some of your failures allowed them to get even closer
as they begin to catch up to you
they're going so fast they're going so fast they're going through the walls
for some reason my tokens and stuff didn't load on this one or a dew fort but there's also outriders
i'll read pretty much tyrant skilled members who were mounted on horses coming in on the northern road
and over and over to the western road that you see barreling down with the with traffic and coming
down to all of you you all you both have two options now you can either try to figure it out
and going to the dead end full of refuse and a bunch of random building construction here
over to the left or try to break it into what seems to be a fenced area to your right
fenced area yeah while they're running and beetle's screaming in shock of his back exploding he's
like did i get shot he points at the fence and he goes fence fence everybody knows when you're
running from the cops you gotta hop the fence yeah buddy feel free feel free to move your tokens inside
as i into the yeah go ahead and move your guys i'll give you two actions of movement basically going
inside now okay because i'm doing that because i have to add because as you're doing this they're hot
on your heels and i need to add all the other tokens so please forgive me oh no
yeah these are the guys who were coming in from the north oh right okay i thought we were gonna
run into more tokens i was about to pee myself seven eight uh there we go more skeletal soldiers
pretty much outsets part of the outsets military tyrants guild members everything begin to
coalesce towards you but you
all of you all of you enter inside of this fenced area and you see it's a dead end it is balled off
with high with high stone walls it seemed to be someone's sort of personal area someone owns the
building over to your side and you see that bit of something it looks like crypts conveniently just
enough to fit all of you if they needed to a broken statue stands inside the middle of this fenced area
and you see the tyrants guild and along with skeletal soldiers military part of onset uh are converging
onto you what would you guys like to do are there any windows on the building or a back door or
is this whole building the the crypt feel free to move in feel free to move in you see that uh
uh you can't the building itself doesn't look like a crypt itself seems to seem to be a personal
a personal correct right but as you kind of look in you do notice that there are some doors and
windows there but they have bars over them and the door itself seems to be pretty sturdy
but maybe with enough persuasion maybe you might be able to get through it but you think it'll take
some time gray is gonna like look around as best you can for any other ways out anything in the
ground like grates or like any way into the sewers and into like anything that might be hidden
okay okay beetle rolled me a perception check gray rolled me a perception check heart what would you like to do
i think that heart would do um heart would at this point ready himself uh to defend his allies
and just turns around and screams at these people
let it try and intimidate them the best you can yeah pretty much and enters mountain stands becomes
stone like a clay shroud and shrouds all of the arms as he screams
we're gonna we're gonna do it this way you see they all begin to approach uh the metal gates
all of them with weapons drawn you see that the skeletal soldiers will have long bows
ready you see a lot of the turn skilled abasers shields up ready to take care of you
they were tipped they seem to be tipped off about how dangerous you are
they don't seem to be fooling around this time for some reason they have a suspicion on how to deal
with you and so we're going to uh do this in one way if you don't mind
the big initiative tracker here chat so forget yeah i'm just not going to show it just for the
sake of real estate if you don't mind chat uh total of 15. yeah and uh and you can do perception or uh
the thing you wanted to do like heart if you wanted to do intimidation uh oh and whichever
one's highest honestly is your benefit i i went with 20. okay i rolled it already all right we're

so they're all basically apparently took action they all moved up took out their longbows
and they're all going to shoot at you so i'm going to basically just roll four times it's going
to be maximum ap because it's going to keep switching to each of their turns first one does not hit you
second one fires we're all the natural one they fell really bad another one fires misses they rolled
a five and last one nothing happened you're just seeing arrows it's either they some of them pierce
you into nothing you're falling to the side you're seeing volley after volley after volley beetle
yeah you see another group of the skeletons skeleton soldiers ready longbows to fire what would you
like to do i would like to start jimmy jimmy jangling the doors i would like to run around and and
wherever the door is on this building i feels try to open it feels absolutely go to any side of the
building there uh we'll just count as a door and um and let's see you find a door you can either try
to bash it down uh try to do some athletics checks with it or just start hitting it with a weapon to
see if you can damage it but you see they're fairly sturdy it might take a lot uh if you have thieves
tools uh you can try to do a thievery check for me you try to lock pick it open because as you jiggle
you see it's it's locked no uh i'm going to switch over to my giselle and start shooting like the
doorknob and the lock okay roll me attack roll yeah yeah roll me tech roll and then do some damage
for me okay so that's a 21 on the attack and then damage oh my god okay go boom and you hit the thing
it is it's all like wood reinforced with metal and stuff like that you did you made a dent into it
you're smashing into this thing uh but you move got your gun out and then you fired art
it is your go okay um
since all of these weirdos seem to use ranged weapons uh to uh beli uh to to make this fight
way more one-sided um i'm gonna just see here real quick uh i want to move up here
hey soren uh-huh i want to reach through and uh since i have a five foot reach when i'm big i want to
kill this guy okay
uh so hard is just gonna walk up and they they are firing their arrows it's really hard to
to miss hard when he's this big uh but they did uh and hard just reaches an arm made out of arms
through the gates uh towards this dude right in front of him i will use flurry of blows uh to to strike
them all right let's see it got a five for total of 19 that's a hit baby

one will try to aid his friends and go after you heart
missing with a two second strike comes after you natural 20 20.

uh gray is okay still looking around for anything other than the the bar doors that uh beetle is trying
to like get open uh would i be able to roll for that i do apologize i got distracted one more time
oh my gosh uh gray is oh okay gray is still looking around to see if there's anything other than the
barred doors that uh the barred windows uh that beetle's going at see if there's any way out of this
while basically heart has these distracted uh you see that further to the south there is a sort of like
stone door basically what's all around you is uh you see the little like like mini personal graveyard
that this back thing has maybe some family lineage maybe someone kind of rich enough in this quarter
to be able to own a house like this but on but the stone kind of it's like a stone fencing like
a memory like a high privacy fence imagine that but it's like made of stone like a good chunk stone wall
you see that there is like a kind of like a gate that's over to the south but you see it's it's
pretty you know it's pretty part of it really might be hard to move and unlock there's chains
kind of wrapping around it um all right so you see if you can try to bust those chains or help out
with shooting or help out beetle or maybe just find a way to uh an inventive way to try to climb over
it is about like 10 feet about 9 feet i think it's pretty much the privacy fence level but basically
that tall of a fence there so it's either options you would like to try for that which one would you like
to go for uh choice paralysis you're gonna die we might all die here no pressure

with a 23 does only about eight points of damage but start chopping into you takes a second swing
does get a hit with a 19 on the die for a total of 23 roll some damage gets 11 with a high roll with
a seven on the die or it's uh 1d8 taking 11 damage to you heart you're getting withered down
yeah it's uh it's easy to get withered down when you get an arrow like puncturing the roof of your
mouth it's it's captain crunch no no but with that talim yes you continue the journey far far into the desert
as you're continuing on
there's a man who's uh been walking with you
you know into the desert so you seem to have gone away from the campsite itself
and as he's walking with you he looks at him going i have appreciated your time
here helping with the camp you've your advice and your knowledge of trade routes have
really helped us try to get to nearby towns we were very low in surprise so thank you talim

you know talim will uh look at the sands out in front of him and he'll look back at the man he's like
it is in a pleasure to work with the caravan to you know have purpose yet again i am
simply trying to make my way in the sands like everyone else
as we all are friend but of course i do not feel that your your journey it ends with us
so it might be a paradise we're able to drink wine and be drowned with coin as we go along our routes
even though there might be sadness here and there there's a lot of happiness here in these sands
but i do not feel that this is your destiny and of course he will kind of lead his hand over and you
see kind of like on a peak of sands on the peak of one of the dunes here something just formulates
into the air the swirl of magic this kind of dark green grungy energy will come together shout out to
content aware tool in photoshop because fuck this man so as this kind of um it's just like seemingly
just like energy this kind of like poor like kind of portal appears in front of you the man kind of
turns to you and you see that one of his eyes look a little bit off as if like you don't remember him
having like a gem in one of his eyes he looks at you and go i do believe that you're not done
with your previous caravan i thought i would end it off with a gift a thanks for helping us here
until he like looks at him and uh he looks back at the portal and he's just like he's like i don't
understand there is still much work to be done there is my friend but i think we have it from here
i think your work is required and another place to find the blacksmith and make it whole
until he kind of like tilts his head and like looks at him he's like find the blacksmith and
make it oh and he kind of like stops for a second and his eyes go wide and he's like
hey i have to i have to go back and like with that like he will turn around and he
starts to book it up the dune like he is scrambling with all his might um to climb up these sands and uh
as he reaches towards the top he looks back uh once more and uh he will throw himself through he yells to
you before you go he goes to leave remember your life your life will not end here until it is found
and it is made whole you have my guarantee
go with our grace and you come into there and a lot happens
a lot begins to happen to you you tear through just like in your mind pretty much just like a whirlpool
of colors and shapes and sounds as you're coming through and we cut back to the goons
for as for what you are seeing as it begins to crash down there we're gonna change it over to this way

desert appropriate as it come as it comes on down hard you're smashing against the turns it like

cocoon basically comes on down and comes right into the middle of the mall talim yes

so liam as you crash down hearts through the thick of it all you see this blazing fire
and just magic and everything whoosh fire like collect coal acid and just explode but you you
recognize it the person as talim but talim you're whole currently you feel bits of you still fading but
as you kind of crash down into it you feel you see that your skin is is still there but but you know
you know that it's quickly fading you know that it's quickly fading you're returning back to your
ghostly origin but you feel that you're on a time limit talim all of your attacks automatically crit and hit
you know that it's really cool he's limit breaking baby

so for them that gets all the skeletons so one damn they're skeletons four five six seven eight
they all take double damage boom pretty much all of them here hold up i can do this one two three four

so um as he uh as talim uh lands in the middle of them he uh will stand up look at everything
um and he'll uh pull his abs coil out of the sheath uh he'll look for uh he'll look up and he'll see
heart riddled with arrows um screaming massive arms and smoke but still the the man that he calls you
know like companion and friend uh who has been beaten and battered by the tyrant's guild and uh
talim is not a happy fellow at the moment
so uh what he will actually do is he will actually
take an action um
and he will move up uh
basically rush up behind the guards uh or behind the three tyrants guild members and the one right in front of him
uh he will
let me go ahead and target him and he will go to shove that uh that sword
right between the man's shoulder blades uh before he can even turn around

disintegrate your ghostly vision have you ever seen shadow of mordor or so ever played it

bitches comes out like assists with the attack think of that as you go swing there's a trail of ghosts
that's kind of like it's like he's trailing behind you to go making a magical splendor
you are beauty of battle basically at this point
and i've got still got one action left you do that means the uh the the fellow
to the right of the man who just perished um
is also going to uh as
kalim uh shoves his sword through the the man in front of him he pulls it back and he flips the
catch on the handle um and as he does the parts of the blades separate and he whips it around his head
uh to bring it down on that man and you said that automatically hits correct automatically crits
oh um but you just roll and then do quit damage for me
okay uh so that comes at a uh at a minus all whatever yeah automatically chris you just auto
hitting we're just doing it to get the get the uh damage math oh okay um
um or just roll crit damage it's fine okay yeah like i was very confused for a moment
it's okay so that is uh i understand the term i probably should translate it to you regardless
boom gone actually no he survives the hit no he survives the hit with the crit damage he's still

uh it comes to beetle you still feel that your um your body that your body like you your image of
as you were alive beginning to fade more and more as time continues even in these short moments you
start to feel yourself become weakened but you're still you're still strong currently beetle it's your
turn you hear a large crash down yeah and you saw the whole fucking open up in the sky for a second
there so beetle kind of stops what he's doing it takes a little step back and leans to look out past
the the overhang of the building's roof and he comes pittering over to where gray is to just
gawk at all this yeah bullshit happening gray is definitely gawking yeah he's like
to leave and and then he sees the state the utter state of heart and he's like
he goes and he puts his gun away he comes running over this way so that's two movements and
i don't know if i can okay uh
i want to heal heart i want to i want to try and battle medicine heart but like with assurance i want
a sure battle medicine yeah that's fine uh okay uh basically go ahead and roll me just 2d8 to kind
of save us time here yeah uh you get plus five i think to that to the heal so yeah yeah whether
sure answer with your stuff you should you should be good to go okay wow that's 8 hp awesome that's
oh god god my rolls i'm just slapping aloe vera on your level remember that i did i added the five

it's attaching fingernails back onto the fingers back on all the hands
no longer oh yeah in in this form in this form uh if beetle tries anything it works
uh because heart is just big and stupid and weird in this form and like the beetle tries to sew two
arms together it works okay yeah beetle's shoving aloe vera in the weird cracks and crevices between
arms uh snoring yes uh i wish to use flurry of blows to strike see it do the duder that talim hit
and i want to thematically make it so that uh when talim strikes him uh and he barely survives for a
moment uh heart's uh massive arms just pours down on him so talim holds him in place and uh
heart smacks him that's a hit uh i roll i roll a seven i roll a six on the die for a total 20.
this is my damage
boom he's gone
combo and then my second attack against this other duder
critical hit that's a crit baby i slam him minimum damage but it's 18.
he takes 18 points of damage uh you still have actions left my bad yeah keep going yeah
uh and then uh my last action uh i will
spend one action to try to get out of fascinated that would be preferable okay uh
uh yeah go ahead and uh roll me attack roll so you can get the mosquito yeah
map minus 10. uh i i i will just try to deselect him uh that
level are they right now they're level five sorry i'm gonna update the overlay
soon so you get to see it i've i i tried to swing at it it's it's a 10.

a frightened i i i will intimidate this one last individual with hearts arrow filled bleeding ghosts

isn't it the demoralize ability it's it's part of the macro that's on your thing i just did it all
ah thank you i rolled up 18 for total of 26. they are frightened too how do you intimidate him
uh yeah like uh his uh his entire just maw is leaning down towards this guy
uh as my final uh as my final action is heart's mouth just slowly leaning towards him and he sees a
human face
and that that's it there's your turn all right well the frightened man is now her her uh hunted prey
she's gonna shoot at him from still around the corner she sees to lean but this before anything
could happen this other man needs to go away he needs to disappear forever uh into the endless
battlefield with all the mimosas i can't believe i shoot endless mimosas critical hit gray that is a total
of 30 crit damage that is you have that made it old precision hunted prey all that
shit yep cracker boom gone that that guy just got so scared his head exploded he gets gmod team
fortress 2 sniper like sniper arrow shot just boom onto the wall exactly
and so with that yeah and then she's gonna go join everybody and so with that
combat is now over before you stands at talim seemingly no longer dead but you see a ghostly like
it's as if like something like like ash in a way is is going from him but talim you stand there
you're back
claim like we'll adjust the straps on his shield and uh click his ass coil uh back
you do not have your shield really you know no it's on the wall it's on the wall at the office
uh then he goes to uh adjust the shield he looks down he's just like
it looks back up at beetle it looks at heart and he uh he looks at uh gray he's like i'm going to
need my shield back gray is gonna gray is gonna hop over this fence and uh i can't move him because
there's a wall it's a wall right in front of him right here right here heart crunches across the
corpses and she's crying she's going to stare at talim silently and then throw her arms around him and
pull him into a hug while he is still corporeal don't you ever leave us again
what is this did you come out of the rock were you in a rock
uh uh clean looks down uh at beetle and he uh kind of like winks
winks winks up a little kobold it's just like the sands provide what does that mean you cryptic
fuck i missed you is now bear now is now bear hugging him do not move talim for for once after
many years for many many years you finally feel physical contact for only the slightest moment
before it goes away it's still it's still lasting now so these are your opportunities
heart lays his arms around them and grows to his regular size as it does
it's a group hug why are you trying to make me cry why are you trying to do that so funny
as uh as uh as gray is basically holding on to him uh limo throw an arm around uh
throw an arm around heart's neck uh if he can and uh put a hand on top of beetle's head and uh
i kind of look around is uh
so how much money have we made
we gotta get out of here let's talk about another time plenty to get you restocked we
gotta get out of here we gotta get off the streets we'll get you your shield back somehow
it's at the elmas a better one a better one a better shield should we go back to the elmas
let's figure that out later we have to get off the streets yeah yeah you're back

you know cloth that he wears starts to flow in a non-existent breeze um
he goes to knock the dust off of himself and uh looks around he's like well it was nice while it lasted
are you back for for good this isn't some kind of strange spell that lord's doing
uh uh uh he looks down at being almost like i still have unfinished business
oh my god
let's get the
fuck out of here i gotta blow a big honking slimer out of my snoot

i don't go go to my mom's house and wait for things to settle down

look at the uniforms when we make sure that the tyrants guild doesn't catch up to us

that your sprouted wings from nowhere and goes that's a dragon and uh
i can fetch so much money if i kill this dragon that's gonna be a sick little doormat
that's gonna be a bath rug right there

say it was gonna do looks at my hp pulls out calculator 40 12. oh fuck me

the inkling of that blessing and you hear and you've heard it before rifles are definitely a thing
in quite a cheer out into the desert and you hear pow crack you have not the bullet has not
reached to make that final crack whizzing past somebody yet you know how it sounds like right
i'll give you one thing to try and intercede
jump in front of the bullet jump in front of the bullet uh yes the bullet that'll go through him
as everything seems to try or everything seems to slow down for a moment and um
you know kleem has lost most of the senses but he can still hear uh and he
he hears the crack of the rifle he hears it whizzing through the air uh and he realizes heading towards
beetle uh he will throw out his hand and
cast magnetic acceleration on the said bullet to uh or attempt to cast magnetic acceleration on that bullet
uh go ahead click cast on me on it let's see what it does to kill beetle faster no just
i mean with chat that's clearly what they're trying to do
acceleration you magnetize a small metal object such as a nail or coin and launch it away from
you at massive speed make a rain spell attack roll if the target is wearing metal armor or it's made
of metal you gain plus one circumstance bonus to your attack roll with magnetic acceleration
on a hit to target six three to six budgeting damage roll me attack roll
it does not quit this time that's a really cool spell that's really cool
that's a that is a 19 on the die
beetle you see this bullet but you don't see it but you hear the crack and you know what it was before
like oh no milliseconds pass to lean you hear it and you quickly react
magic coming through as of slow motion the uh just wave waves and and threads of magic come in
as if grabbing the bullet by itself and just tugging it with all of its acceleration with its accuracy
and the skill of the hunter that's just almost volume scratching your cheek as it passes by
and misses you thanks to talim's intervention
oh crackers we gotta get inside
beetle will run back over to this house and start trying to open the door again
heart looks back at the two of them runs after beetle
gray just kind of looks over at talim and just shrugs and she's like welcome back
can you open the door can you open the door he's still on us he's still on us and i don't know
where the bullets are coming from we're gonna die i want to open the door snoring
you you crash through the door with help with help of heart and everything talim you see
you see your friends panic and begin to leave
you're back in outset with all of them
i assume you guys try to escape at this point try to get try to get back to almost which is
which you still know is a safe place how long are we berated by gunfire that seems to have been the
last shot that you've noticed you you return back to the the various alleyways trying to cover your
trail as you're coming back to the pond's pilaster you you weave and bawb throughout it all with everyone
back everyone in tow as you continue on in your adventure and outset and that is where we're
going to end it today

but you're still alive but still sort of yeah
